About 3 years ago i had to have 134 added to my van. It lasted till last month. I added a can last month. It lasted untill july 3, less than a month.
How do you go about finding leaks? What is the most common failure on caravans if any?
I bought the van used in 1999. it is a 96 GC. Front air only. So i don't have the whole history.

save yourself the hassle. I recharge a/c systems for a living. discribing that you leak that slowly, yes slowly. keeping in mind that a/c systems are under great pressure thats a slow leak.
go to the parts store and purchase a sealant. goes in the same way as the coolant. then recharge once more with coolant as before. the sealant will find and seal the holes and it will stay in and seal any new ones that develop in the future
good luck and take the wife out for a nice dinner with the money you save! :naughty:
What is the most common failure on caravans if any? ? ? OWNING ONE! :screwy:

Thanks for replying to my question. Since i posted the questions, i had the van checked for leaks. I'm told the evaporator coil need to be replaced which is under the dash and the entire dash needs to come out.
I'm also told that a sealer just cloggs up the entire system.
do you repair ac systems also, as in replace coils, etc or do you just recharge the systems?
I would like your professional opinion, Thank you.
