my car is still pretty new. i only bought it in december, and i've been very protective of it.

by nature, i'm a perfectionist. i got a little irritated when i discovered little specks and scratches on my car, but as i was waxing it the other day, i discovered to my dismay a slight dent on the side, near the wheel. it's not very noticeable, but it bothers me.

i thought my car would be perfect for at least a year, and i thought it reasonable to expect a dentless/scratchless car. is it normal to expect that or am i just being irrational?

is it worth fixing? how much would a job like that cost?

If the paint isn't cracked a Paintless Dent Repair(PDR) can massage them out with outstanding results. It's hard to say from that pictures but I would guess a good PDR company would do it for $50-$75 each dent. The best company around here is dent wizard. http://www.dentwizard.com/

The only way your car will stay perfect for a year is not driving it. Working at auto dealers I saw many new cars(low miles) dinged, scrathed, smashed, totalled, etc. Be happy that's all the comsmetic damage you have.

Dude, its gonna happen. The only way your car will stay perfect is if you keep it in a garage and never drive it. Just leave it be, I'm sure you'll encounter more scratches/dents from every day driving.

If your a perfectionist get it fixed at a paintless dent repair place like they ^ said. I have used Dent Busters and the results were fantastic.

Never give up. Park far away from butt heads who don't care if they ding your car. Wash, clay, polish and wax often. Clean bird crap off asap, etc.
IMO the only thing inevitable is stone chips but even they can be reduced by not tailgating especially dump trucks. Years from now your car will look better and be worth more than the cars of all the regular schmucks.

You may get away by using the Dink King kit, since your dent isn't that big.
