I changed the faces on my gauges and at that same time i figured i would check and tighten the screws on the gauges. Since then ive had gas gauge problems, it doesnt work. :banghead: I bought another cluster and swapped out the gauge and still nothing, :banghead: so i bought another gauge and it slightly worked, well it went to 3/4 of a tank and hasnt moved since. :banghead: Am i doing something wrong? Is there a special way to install and or set the gauge? :banghead: PLEASE HELP

My guess would be to check the connections/wiring... If 3 different clusters are doing the same thing... U probably just knocked something loose back there...

all these guage clusters ur buying.. b4 u test them are u throwing on ur new face plates first? u cant mess around with those needles, there are calibrated and if u muck wit them a little they will no longer be accurate. but if u didnt install the faceplates i would agree with Exempt.. u prolly loosened the pin for the fuel sensor on the back of the connector. gl man

not on all the gauges ive tried, just some, but i dont have to remove the needle to put the face on i just have to slide the face over the needles, but that also moves the needle so would that matter? my temp gauge still works fine so why just the gas?

well like i said b4. just check the pins in the connector and make sure they are snug. sumtimes those harness's can be a bitch to work with not having much slack when connecting them and disconnecting them and u gotta give a lil tug on um. let us know
