A/C Problem

I have a Strange Problem with my 02 Cav.When I turn on the A/C with the car idling in park or neutral everything is fine.Comp. kicks on ,air is cold.When I put the car in gear The compressor starts cycling on and off and the idle jumps up and down.

I have the exact same problem, I replace the IAT sensor but it did nothing to help. Please let me know if you get your problem fixed.

I have an 02 Sunfire with the same problem. Could you please let me know what you were able to find out with your Cavalier.
