Tunes

I was chilling to some tunes the other day. And I realized that I like every genre of music under the sun. I got Christian music in my RF mp3 10 disc changer, along with the heavy metal type stuff, rap, pop, r&b, oldies. Then I cranked it to this dude Blaine Larson "How Do You Get That Lonely", its a country tune. Then right after it was another country tune by Brad Paisley (Feat. Allison Kraus) called "Whiskey Lullaby" a couple very dark lyrical tunes. Dark as country can be I guess. Not the typical route country tunes go. Everyone gets low in life at some point, but what makes one jump from sad to suicidal. I realize many drown feelings and emotions with substances. But that is always the easy way out. And it is selfish.

Mankind always wants the easy way. The gravy train with little effort. Greed is a very powerful thing. It is what casino's run on, Greed. Chasing bets, etc. To stop the downfall, one has to stop digging. That reminds me of another song, I forget the name, I think its Barlow - "Walk Away" Lyrics go liek this "Doesnt matter if your lying in the gutter, it doesnt matter that your brains all cluttered, it doesnt matter that your covered in scars, your never in the gutter with your eyes on the stars"

It doesn't matter where you are, or what you are doing. But rather what you are thinking. Because what you think is what you feel, which is how you will act or re-act.

of course mankind wants it easy. Weird I know but dealing with something head on to me is better than running away forever.

It is always consoling to think of suicide: in that way one gets through many a bad night.
