First off I have a 99 camaro 3.8l.
The problem im having is a loss or lack of power at low rpms. This only happens when im currently in a turn. If im backing out of a parking space or turning on to a road from a complete stop I have very little power untill the car and wheels become straight again. It almost feels like im taking off in second gear but im not. It sometimes stutters and feels like its gonna go but then it doesnt. At first i thought it may be the transmission slipping but the rpm's stay low no matter how much gas i give it untill I straighten out then it finally goes. I never have a problem taking off in a straight line and I have no problems with the way the engine runs besides this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Possibility if it applies, haven't spent much time with the newer models yet, but on most vehicles there is a switch that senses the wheels are being turned at a low rpm, then the pcm raises engine idle to keep things smooth. I had this problem with my daily driver (87 buick) with the early version of this switch had massive problems of failure, most of us that got fed up with it found a fix through radio shack parts. Anyway, when that switch failed it caused similar issues and might be worth a try.
Other than that, it would almost have to be a driveline issue and first thing that comes to mind is the differentail. Any problems cornering?
