hello guys..
i have a 1990 chevy blazer 4.3 2wd
the problem with my brakes is when i get a stop and wait for the green light.. the pedal comes down slowly sometimes. and other pulsates.
the BRAKES light comes on
so... i don't want this ABS shit.
i already replaced the mastercylinder and repaired the booster. the lines are ok. and the pressure is ok.
what can i do to convert this ABS to the old ones???
i like the old brakes like old blazers..
thanks guys.. i hope hear from you.

Sounds like you have air in your lines.
Bleed the brakes, starting with the right rear, left rear, right front then left front.

Is the ABS light on?
Also, you might want to check your front wheel hub sensors to make sure they are clean.

my truck dont have the ABS light. it has only the BRAKES light.
i already check for air in the lines and nothing..
the BRAKES light always On,, when i reset the ECM turns off, but 2 days latter go On again.
when i reset the ECM , the brakes pulsates during aplication and stops. or some times are very hard and then goes down...
when i run the truck in the 4 days after the ECM reset. the brakes don't pulsates anymore.. but it feels the loss of pressure a little..
i don't know about any sensors in the wheels..
i check for cables in the wheels and nothing.. no cables.. only the lines of the brakes.
this sounds familiar??:S :eek7:
thanks

Check for wires going to the dust sheilds in the front brak assemblies.
Check all electrical connections going to the ABS unit in the engine compartment and hit them with electrical contact cleaner.

Not smart to unplug your ABS system when you don't know what it is actually doing.
Your brake system is made to have the ABS system functioning to work properly.
Unplugging it is a really poor idea and until you know better, I wouldn't do it again and actually, I think it is illegal if you cause an accident and they find it unattached.
