vapor lock ?

I have a 1996 chevy corisca 6 cyl. I live in Las Vegas and when the outdoor temp goes 105+ I am having a problem with engine shutting off / stalling out. The car temp is not hot and I check for spark I have spark. It seems to be a fuel problem. I removed the mass air flow and sprayed ether it runs. I can hear the fuel pump could any one help with this problem? Could this be fuel vapor lock ? or is it computer related? Any ideas?
