Have a Honda Accord 1988 LXI M/T F/I 2.0L.
Have to replace the whole exhaust system
from the Header to the muffler. I have a
universal catalytic converterer. Do I
have to weld it on? I cant screw it on
or I would. What do I do? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Most are going to have flanges on both sides so you can bolt it in (assuming it lines up with your flanges, if not your going to have to weld new ones to the pipe). If it doesnt have flanges then you may be able to get by with clamps, but more than likely it should be welded.

If welding is not possible, there is another kind of exhaust clamp that might work. It is a band of stainless steel about 2" wide the length equivalent to the cicumference of the pipe. At the ends are bars with bolts and recieving nuts. I think they were originally intended for large trucks. I think they are called total seal(?) and are offered in a variety of sizes including those small enough for many automotive uses. Should be available at some automotive parts stores. They are expensive.

from my experiance, clamps near the cat just dont work too much vibration the bolts that are made for holding the flanges together are special, one use bolts made for that exact purpose... just get the flanges and bring it an exhaust shop, shouldnt be too expensive
