hi a friend of mine bought a 2005 vistory hammer for his son who no longer wants it and now he is selling to for only 2 grand. it was his first bike can it be mine?

I think you mean a Victory? right? I'm not sure what your asking. Do you want to buy this bike from him? Well if he's selling it for 2 grand (considering they cost about 16.5k new), and your sure there is nothing wrong with it, then it would be a steal. It really sounds to good to be true.

hey yea i ment the victory and its acctually a 2005 8-ball. My friends father got it for 4 grand at police auction i didnt know that,i found it fishy that it was only 2 grand but anyway if i buy it off of him can i start with this bike?

After doing the conversion from cubic inches to ccs, I am going to say that bike is HUGE in terms of displacement... I would find something a little more... complacent for a starter bike, but that's just me.

I'm going to have to agree with saturntangerine on this one. Starting off with a 1.5L bike is a lot of bike. Perhaps you could profit from the bike, and buy somthing that would be a better starter bike. Having that much power could be very dangerous if your not to careful about it. Especially since you will feel the power due to its displacement at any rpm.

Buy it and keep it running/garaged intil you gain more experience. Then buy a $500-$1000 used Ninja 250r and learn on that.
