How much am I looking at for replacing the struts in my 91 Buick Regal?
Any suggestions for aftermarket brands?

I'm having my struts and mounts replaced. I've called a few different places and have decided to go with a local mechanic because of the price. Tuffy quoted me 508 total, but for just the struts they are 118.66 a piece.
I don't see the number as mentioned in the above post, the quote lists Item 801831 Monro-Matic Plus.
I gave Tuffy 500 last year for new rotors and pads. Its had quite a few break jobs, not sure how much longer I'm gonna keep repairing her, I think her final day is coming soon. :(

118.00 for each strut is way too much...that means its $472.00 for 4 struts, just for the parts...the price HOTZ28 gave you is more like it...i just put Monroe sensa-tracs in and am not happy with them at all...on the HWY they are too soft..around town it doesnt handle potholes good...ive never tried Monroe Reflex but have heard good things about them

i also recently replaced 4 new rotors and ceramic pads...total cost $205.00...i did the labor myself..i was able to find Wagner rotors for $30 a piece, front and back...Most other places wanted $75 or more each...chances are if you have to do brakes too often then you may have bad calipers or use a shop that has crappy pads
