cleaning condenser

I have a 97 Caravan, with a very dirty ac condenser. We tried blowing it out and then used water, but junk is STILL in there. AC is barely working. Now there is steam coming from between the ac and the condenser. Any ideas, anyone??!!

Blowing out with air or using water should be done from the rear or radiator side towards the condenser. Try using refrigerator condenser coil brush.
