Why not an Aurora? I am a big fan myself, especially of the Classic (1995-1999) body style. :grinyes:
Anyway, other favorites among us Aurora owners are Bonnevilles (which you obviously know about) and the Cadillac STS/SLS series. Both models can give you all the amenities that an Aurora has, can be purchased used at reasonable prices, and the Cadillac sports the larger 4.6L Northstar engine (compared to the classic Aurora's 4.0L). You really can't go wrong with any of those choices. What specific "like an Aurora" features are you looking for?

the aurora is too expensive (parts and repair). It also have the head bolt thing which is a major defect, and a lot of owners are having that problem when the get near the 100,000 mile mark.
I love the bonneville (my previous one was at 260,000 miles when i sold it..still going strong) but i wanted something more sportier...and with an engine you can work on yourself basically.
I just thought there was something else outhere in the same class.

When my wife's Aurora breaks down (see my thread a few lines down from yours), the Cad dealer gives us a CTS to drive. I like them A LOT!
Then again, I'd be hard pressed to gamble on another GM car after this. Even tho it's the only lemon out of the 3 most recent GMs in the family. I just can't imagine if this car was out of warranty!!

there isn't many like the aurora If you want something close go to a buick riviera and gm has been the best company I have ever stuck too. I've had lemons all my life hondas, toyotas, nissan, CHRYSLER, Ford but gm has been the best to me you just got the car made on a day gm had a strike CharlieFoxtrot and I wouldn't be complaining you have a dealer warranty so therefore when something breaks you dont have to pay for it.

Warranties run out. A lemon remains a lemon. If I'd had to pay for the repairs on this car, I'd have spent ~$2000+ in the last 6 weeks. That is NOT OK. It's 3 years old and had 9300 miles when we got it!
I still hope that this is growing pains and after we kill a few bugs the car will be fine. It's a nice car.

The new top-of-the-line Bonneville has the Northstar engine. With GM's discount program right now, its a steal
