Hey, guyz. I haven't shown you pics of my car in a while so I thought I'd post some up. I took these this morning and the car is dirty, so sorry. The wheels were put on last week. They are 17" Omni Concept Neon 7's wrapped in 205/40ZR17 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's. I should have listened to everybody and got 16's 'cause they rub like hell on turns and big dips in the road... but it's all good, new coilovers and shocks will help me out in a month or two. But anywayz... enjoy the pics. I appologize for their quality (or lack there of).

Looks tight bro! Just one thing, lose the Kanji on the gas filler door, it just throws off the nice clean look you have goin. Otherwise its lookin good. Show us an enginebay pic. :D

how are the kuhmos feeling. i am really considering getting some of those for some 17 inch av7's i am going to get. how much did you pay for the kumhos.

The vinyl's comin' off today. ;) I've had that on my car for 2 years and now it's goin' in the garbage for sure. But thanks for the compliment. I'd take a pic of my engine bay, but you'd laugh. :D And it's also pretty dang dirty right now.

Kumho's are some pretty good tires... quite sticky. It handles well in the rain too because of the tread patterns. I got my tires at Discount Tire but it was in no way cheap there. They originally wanted $119 per tire and after the balancing, mounting, and tax... came to about $630! Way too much. After a little haggling my final cost was $540... but I feel that was still quite a bit high.

man!! i've seen 205/40/17 kumho going for 78 a piece.

hey dont feel bad about getting 17''. we all make stupid mistakes and u'll have many many cars in the future to make better because of the mistakes we make. no worries

didnt you want a suspension before you did the body? I prefer a slammed civic over one with rimz, not flamin just wondering if you got a good deal on the rimz or something? What engine you plan on puttin in that hb? I want a cx maybe to put my b16 in, I have to sell the Sol first though.. Keep it clean....

my uncle rolled my fenders for me and i barely rub at all dude. you should consider rolling yours. i didnt want 17"s b/c they rubbed so much, but my uncle rolled the fenders and now it rides good.
PS. by rolling, i mean moving the metal lip in and making it flat.

I did pay way too much for the Kumho's... I've seen them for much cheaper also.

The offset of the wheels is a little much... +40.
To the suspension comment. My car is already on sport springs and is lowered 2 inches (it was much lower when I had the stock 13's... but the 17's picked the car up considerably). I said I wanted coilovers only because I would like to have the ability to adjust my ride height.
I already plan on rolling the fenders. I'm looking for a shop than can do a quality job. My only problem is that the passenger side rear quarter panel is pushed in slightly from a small collision with the previous owner and that needs to be taken care of first. One question though... how much do you think I'd be lookin' to spend on rollin' the fenders?
