98 Jetta stalling problem

I have a 98 Jetta 2.0 auto , 90K miles. It starts as normal but after 5 to 8 minutes , it stalls like the key were turned off. It will restart but only after it sits for a few minutes. Once it restarts , it will stall again but will stall a little quicker the second time. The check engine light does not come on during this . While running it runs good and it doesnt seem to matter if it is running fast or idleing when it stalls. I did replace the coil about a week ago because it had a crack in it , but it ran great after the replacement.....Any ideas?

Trouble found,,,,The new coil I put on was bad. It worked for a couple days, then once it got hot it would cut out. Replaced the coil a second time and all is well.
