I wouldn't change anything for myself because our experiences, be it good or bad, made us who we are today. and there are many other thigns that we will experience that will shape us more into a person. If you were to change one little thing from the past, a whole series of events may not have happened to have you here today. Just my :2cents:

It would be fun to show up in the USA in the early 1900's when the automobile was just taking off. Since the roads were crap back then I'd bring a Jeep Rubicon just to watch every ones jaw drop when I showed them what my horseless carriage could do.

Then I'd go to 1965 and only bring enough money to order a new Shelby Mustang. I'm not greedy that would be enough.

You know, reading all these responses and debating with my own thoughts, I have come to the conclusion that the best thing is to be a selfish prick and just do something that would only benefit me.
One cannot change history no matter what one tries or says. I would love to go back in history and correct a few things, stopping Hitler, Pearl Harbour, 9/11 etc etc, but most likely one will fail in doing so. They would either kill you or your plan will be stopped. Like a member said, they would probably think you are mad and lock you up somewhere. Now wouldn't that be a bitch.

As much as I didn't care for it, I think I'd like to go back through my high school years and fill in all the "what ifs" and "I wonders" just to see what would of happened.

I would love to go back to my senior year and change one decision I made, but at the same time not. There are a ton of things that I would love to go back to, but like Kate said things happen for a reason.

With that said, I would go back to about April 1863 and meet Lincoln. IMO he was the best president this country has ever seen and probably the most intriguing person I could think of. I would bring my friend Amanda who is another history freak like myself. I'm not sure what I would bring with. I would just like to see what it was like back then.

I would prefer to go into the future, see how I end up if I continue what I am doing, see who I marry (or if I marry). Or even go about 40 years into the future, buy a car and bring it back with me.
