Driver side Mirror Help

Yo guys, i backed into some guy and broke my driver side mirror. Just curious if anyone has taken apart one of them before. I was gonna get one from a junkyard and swap out the parts that were functional, since the unit isn;'t knocked off or anything...the glass is the only thing that is broken. If anyone has replaced a driver side mirror please let me know how hard it is to repolace and what is the typical price for one...either new or used. Thanks
