2001 4runner wont start

I just got back from a long weekend and my 4runner will not start. At first crank it made a quick clicking sound that soon died out. Doors won't even lock/unlock. I tried jumping it, but got nothing, not even a peep. When the doors are open the interior light comes on but it is very dim. Anyone have any ideas to what I can do? Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like your battery is dead - shorted. Replace it.
