pop out windows?

Compared to other cars, one of the things I miss on my CRX is pop-out windows. There's little ventilation, unless of course I were to prop the hatch open...

Were there ever aftermarket/optional rear windows, hinged at the front and latched at the rear?

Nope, never heard of such a thing. Probably easier if you have an aftermarket sunroof put in.

take some off a hatch, go to a custom glass place, and have them cut/install them.

dont know where to call? start with local hotrod shops, ask who they use when they do a chop top car. there should be quite a few places around your area that can do it, and it shouldnt cost THAT much. (prolly the same price as putting in a aftermarket sunroof, or less)

I'd just use the crx glass and fit it to the hatch hing and latch.

i agree with tsc and johnb16a2 why would it be easier to modify the rear windows if he had an aftermarket sunroof

im confused, crx pop out glass? the civic hatches 88-91 had them, but on the crx, the back windows are small as crap. but all i know is the usdm ones, maybe im wrong?
