Del sol w H22 is it possible?

Hey,
Im new to this sight and pretty new to hondas, this is my second and I want to put an H22 into a 93 Del sol. Im in the Air Force and currently in England so I dont have access to everything stateside, but I can make do over here. The reason I want to do this swap is because I can get ahold of an H22 cheaper than any b-series, it seems to be a rare swap, I like the torque in the H22, I want to stay NA, and to top it all off I have a "friend" who says it can't be done and I like to prove people wrong.

The main thing he sights is weight and the fact of the shift cable linkage needing a hole to be cut in a very precise place that might hit the main wiring harness for the car. Not sure if hes right but I would like as much help as possible. Thanks for checkin the thread.

if you can put a legend v6 into a 5th gen...anything is possible

i think the del sol engine bay is the same as the regular civics....so it should be easy to put in...but but everything else may be a lil complicated

I have seen a $g63 in a del Sol. The fact is, if you have enough money, you can do it. I have also seen a 350 in a Cavalier... Money is possibility.

Jeeze, it's not that bad (legend or 4G63 engine). Should be the exact same as the h22a 5th gen swap. I'm not really sure on the shiftlinkage length though (isn't the del sol's shorter?).

I just ment that because the del sol linkage might be shorter, the h22a linkage might be too long. I knew when I posted that, that what I said would be misunderstood (I should have known better).
