Well gas around here (Kentucky) has gone up a little, but it's still around 1.28 so it's not as bad as elsewere.

Wow and I thought we paid a lot for petrol over here. It’s just gone up to $1.14 per Litre for 98 octane.

I'm not too pissed right now. I'm paying $1.69 for 87 octane. It costs $42 to fill my Suburban :)

Last summer I was pissed, though. I remember it was up past $2/gallon!!!

We do pay a lot here....you are using NZ$ and litres, the others are talking US$ and gallons......which works out that we are paying practically double the US price.:(

Ah OK. I thought it worked the other way around as a $US1.60 equals about $NZ0.80. :)

Not really. A few months ago some changes were made in my job and I am no longer doing deliveries for my office :) So now that means I can actually go a whole week between visits to the gas station instead of every 2-3 days

Mmmm, lucky you, I have to drive 30-45 min to and from work every day so that burns about 6 bucks in gas every day... And thats if I don't go anywere else:(

I pay $1.29 for 87 octane. (Thank goodness for Sheetz!!! ;) )

I get good gas mileage, but I drive 35 minutes to and from school every weekday, and then joyride or go out and do something afterwards, so I am guilty of polluting.... BUT DRIVING STICK IS SO FUN!!! :D

BAH!! Suffer the consequences, if you Americans want to drive big V8's and SUV's then be prepared to pay for the gas!!!!!! here in NZ it costs about $70 to fill up a Suburban, and as much as $300 in the UK.
