I have this rattle type sound coming from what seems to be the drivers side rear tire well. I can only hear when I hit a bump at like 25mph but the ride seems smooth still. No real bumpyness to speak of. I have on 03' TB LT 17,000 on it. I called local dealer to have it serviced but no openings are available till 7/12. Was wondering if anyone had any issues like this???

I had a rattle for sometime. Stupid me, it was my cargo moving around. Also, if you have a third row, if folded it also make a rattle.

I have the same problem on my 02... I've benn under it 4 times trying to move things and make a rattle but unable to locate it. I did notice the inner wheel wells on the front are loose and tend to make a rattling noise. But mine seems to be coming from the drivers side rear at lower speeds too.

Do you ave a hitch cover? The pin that keeps mine in rattles, drove me crazy looking for the source.

i have a 03 trailblazer lt ext, have a rattle in the drivers rear at low speeds over bumps, 10-35 mph. very audible, probably sounds crappy going down the road. been under it several times, nothing makes that noise.been to dealer, they dont seem to hear it, must be selective hearing.rest assured, its not cargo, its not trailer hitch, its coming from under, and its driving me crazy. my folks have an 04 trailblazer ltz and low and behold, the exact same rattle.next move is to put it on a lift and bang around some more. according to dealer im on my own on this. i know im not alone, lets get our heads together and solve this mystery.

Try tighting the rear sway bar linkages. Both mine rattles , I replaced them with moog parts which had greese fitings on them. Rattles are gone now. At first I thought they were tight but when I changed them the noise stoped. Dont know if this is your noise, but it was mine.

I had a rattle from the front of the truck at 10-25 mph. Sounded like a brake cable slapping a tail pipe. I found that the shield behind the rotor (on the drivers side)was "tinging" on the ball joint. Had to remove the tire and found the shield touching the lower control arm area. The parts are very close. Hope this helps.

I also have a severe rattle / clanking from the rear of my 03 Trailblazer ext. I have taken it into the dealer. They have confirmed the noise but tell me everything checks out okay. Including the sway bars.
Another tech ( who has not heard nor seen my car ) told me it WAS the sway bars and that it was a very common problem with the Trailblazer.
I don't know what to do.... Other than driving around with my windows closed so I don't hear it as loud as those outside of my car.
I did see there was a service alert for rattling/clanking in the Trailblazer and I brought it to my dealer.... He said they can't find anything wrong.
They won't find the problem until I go to trade it in for another truck ...Then they'll tell me it needs to be fixed.:banghead:

Front and rear stablizer bar end-links wear out & cause the clunking/rattling. 4 end links total.

i have an 04 and the jack and wheel chocks are stored in a compartment over the driver side wheel well.Things tend to rattle around if the jack isn't secured tightly.Give that a try.
