sup guys
i know it might be here in the forum somewhere but i aint finding nothing,
hope you guys can help, since its 4th of july and all i feel like blowing my car up tonight, this making me mad

anyhow heres the situation
i have a 91 integra ls
i warp the head, put in a new head, and now the sucker wont start
heres whats happening
no sparking on the distruberter (i think thats how you spell it), could it be bad?

ecu not getting any power, now i could be wrong, turn the ignition key on and the LED is not flashing

where the hell is the ecu ground, i was told it was on the thermostat

main relay be bad? and how, the chilton book says it has a primary and a secondary realy, when on it powers up the primary relay to the ecu and seconday relay kicks in and it turns on the fuel pump, see the fuel pump is work, im dumping hella gas

all i did was change the head cyclinder and now the dang thing dont want to run
it'll start and all, but wont turn over
please anyone if you guys can help, before i blow it up tonight

thanks

what method did you use to check for spark? if there is no spark, work your way backwards. the basics are plugs, wires, cap, rotors, coil.

I Worked backwards and also tried touching spark plugs to ground and no spark, and tried all four plug wires. And still the car isn't turning over.

cap, rotor, coil?

There could be a couple of things that are wrong such as rotor cap, new spark plug wires and spark plug with gap set right and also make sure your firing order is right, if that dosent work then it could be something electrical such as starter, igintion but good luck

You can't just touch the plugs to a grounding point, you have to crank the motor with them touching metal to get a spark. On another note, you need to make sure you have ALL you grounds hooked back up. Valve cover one, transmission and thermostat housing, and make sure the power wires from the harness and battery are going back into teh fuse box int he right places.Still nothing? make sure you battery is fully charged.

the cap is in good shape, rotor good, coil good,
no spark i mean, had someone crank the car and no spark when i touch it to metal, still having the same problem, wont turn over battery brand new, all my grounds are hooked up, see this is the thing, the car was running until i changed my head, and now im having the problem, im bout to blow it :D

i finally fix the dang thing
it turned out to be the igniter, thats the reason why i didnt get no spark
thanks for all you guys help, im driving again
just to let someone know if your browseing through this, you have to have the 3 main grounds hooked up, the tranny, the head cyclinder and the ecu, located by the thermostat, if not ur car wont start for nothing
Later!
