would it be safe to run an evo III 16g on stock 450 injectors with a rewired 190 fuel pump on my 1g, if so, how many psi??? I already have the turbo and pump but i don't have money for the upgraded injectors or safc yet.

It's safe to run any sized turbo at a low enough boost level that you have enough fuel with a stock system. You'll be looking at ~15psi, but there really isn't much reason to install anything before you get injectors and an AFC.

I am on a 255, not rewired, with an Evo 16g. I am still on the stock 450's, and at 12-13 psi, I am maxing the injectors, at about 30 or so lbs/min. It makes sense since that's about the max air capacity that the stock fuel system can feed.

So all in all, you can run that turbo if you want, but eventually your going to need something to keep it all in perspective. I would keep it at 13, or so max,(I am a pretty conservative turner BTW) until you can upgrade your fuel system and such as mentioned by Joe.

If I had a fmic wouldn't I be able to run more boost without upgrading injectors and safc, or should I just save the money for the fmic and use it on the injectors and safc?

you need injectors and safc before fmic

i was also wondering how much of a difference would it make if i upgraded the stock o2 housing to an evoIII? how much would an evoIII o2 housing actually help??

The upgraded O2 housing is for better boost control, not more power.
