Well my 91 crx with vtec has only done this after it stalls, and only about 3 times. But this time it wont start back up. The o2 sensor wire was pulled off by the road again (she sits low) and so it shut down, its currently sittin in a drugstore parking lot right now so any help would be great. When i turn the key it clicks once like it would if i dint have the clutch in, theres no difference. All the electronics shut off just like they would if it were starting but no turn over. I was all by myself so i couldnt tell if it was the solenoid or a relay but the click emenates from the passenger side. Every other time it would starte after playing with the clutch and key for a minute or so but now theres nothing, I tried for about 20 minutes and the result was a night in a parking lot.

Ok i went up there and tightened it down but no luck, and after sitting in the passenger seat and turning the key i notice 1. the ecm flashes once for the check so its on and 2. I think the click is the starter solenoid, at least most likely....

you could always try a push start just to get it home. but try it in 2nd gear not first its pretty hard on the trans. Good Luck.

Sounds like bad ground or loose wire as mentioned b4

Ok i found it, and i have one queston. Who is the genius who designed a hole on the clutch pedal right in front of the clutch switch just perfect enough for it to go straight through when you push the clutch and not hit the switch. Had to crawl under the dash and push it by hand to start the car and since the o2 sensor wire was stilled pulled out it kept on dying the whole ride home. Its not fun when you accindentally leave it in gear and it almost drags you into a main road when you start it and it wont die as your legs are hanging out on the street. Btw since i have been spending plenty of time under the dash lately, where is the fuse for the points labeled "option" (in the service manual) on the fuse box. My autometer gauges are connected to em and all 3 went out recently. Also the green lights on my a/c and tthe motor that controls airflow went at the same time and i cant find a fuse or circuit for that either. Still blows though. At least shes home....

Well I wish I knew that crap earlier lol, fit me to a T!. And so that explains what that damn thing was on the floor of the car a couple days ago, except mine was like a hard wax really, i could scrape it with my nail. I threw it off in the yard, damn.....Well I hope the penny we glued in there holds lol.

It should hold, if you chose to replace it the part is cheap from the dealer. GL
