z3 engine swap

I have a 99' z3 coupe that i want to drop a BMW v8 into. Are there any engines that would suit it? I saw AC schnitzer had a v8 in a z3 coupe.

You need to stop dreaming because if you dont plan on spending 20k$ your not going to ever get this done. Becides the fabrication for the engine mounts and tranny brackets is obiviously far past your capabilities.

But by all means if you wana spend more on an engine swap then your cars worth put a E46 M3 engine into it.The mounts may be but they most likely wontbe the same since you have a M52 engine in your Z3 and the E46 M3 has a S54. If you want more power just go buy a Z3 M coupe.
