I found this very affordable kit listed on ebay, thinking on purchasing it myself, and this seller always has 2 listed. I don't know the fit but according to the feedback it fits well. If anyone has ever purchased this kit and has any feedback about it I would gladly like to hear it before I purchase.

Thanks

Also for the manual transmission, when you take out the stock air box you will need a mounting bracket for your hydraulic clutch reservoir as it is now mounted to the air box. This bracket fits into the top mounting hole for the stock air box.

Ummm, no, not really. use zip ties until you feel you need that, I've had mine zip tied for 3 months now, and several others on the JBO do the same. Just tie it to the brake master cylinder (one of the hard brake lines).

If you want to spend the money on J-body parts, PLEASE support the people who work with us. Karo is a J-body owner/driver. Please go to him first. Mantapart is ok, but not very customer friendly. and other companies on www.j-body.org are good. just read the comments and decide who's best. I'll stand by Karo and Car Customs though.

Remember, without the little guys, we have no support for our cars.

I do agree that zip ties would work but IMO the look of the ties just looks like a half way job and the ties are still plastic and can break, where as the bracket is aluminum, which will last, and is very presentable. Performance is about 80% of a vehicle and 20% appearance, compared to the price that some people spend on performance mods, the 20 or 30 dollars invested on such a small part is worth it to acheive that clean professional look. Also I would not feel comfortable with having anything strapped to the master cyl or brake lines, but after all this is all just my own opinion and for all who have gone the zip tie route and it is working and you are happy with the look, then that is all that matters.

Cheers

Looks=weight in most cases (LOL)

the zip ties are just about as good as the aluminum thingy, they hold the clutch res up when the Air cleaner is gone. The Aluminum bracket is a "show" piece in most cases, but Yes, for a finished look, a bracket of some kind could be used.

As for zip tieing it to the brake lines, the plastic will wear out well before the metal brake lines, and since nothin moves on either piece, it should never wear out. that is why we do it there.

Not saying you shouldn't get the Bracket, just get it from a J-body supporter, and not from Ebay.
