I painted tonight for the first time in a long time, and I forgot how great these little paint mixers are: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX8152&P=7
Much preferable to shaking, which is how you get the caps stuck to the bottles.
I have a different version from Micro Mark, but it's the same thing. I was mixing some RLM 74 acrylic with a piece of sprue, and the bottom was very sludgy and nothing was happening, but about 10 seconds with this and it mixed right up. I even brought decade-old enamel back to life with it.
To clean it just run it in a cup/jar of water to get most of the paint off, and then in lacquer thinner to get the last bits off.
