I have a 93 S-10 Blazer 4x4 with 109 k on it. I have a rattle in the frt suspension that is driving me crazy. . I was told it was the frt torsion bar rear mount. I replaced them but that was not the problem. So I had the ball joints checked. I definately needed a lt lower ball joint so I replaced it. But there is still a "tinny" rattle coming from the lt frt area. The lower engine shield was loose so tightened it, but the frt end still it rattles. I was told that the brake caliper bushings can be worn causing the pads to rattle in the brake caliper. Is it possible? Any one else have a difficult rattle to trace?
I also posted another problem. After the lower ball joint repalcement the ABS sensor wire rubbed on the inside of the rim and now the ABS light is on. I checked the fault code - it is code 25, lt frt wheel wire or connector. Obviously it is the wire since it is rubbed half way through. Does any one know if this wire can or should be repaired?
