99 GM Squeaks Driving Over Bumpy Road

My 99 GM makes squeaking sounds when driving over a bumpy road. Could it be the shocks? They seem to be fine. Maybe bushings somewhere in the suspension? The squeaking seems to be coming from the back end of the car but its hard to tell.

Does anyone have any thoughts or maybe experienced this same problem?

My guess is the rubber bushings on the sway bar, on my car (not a MERCURY) I have to lube the bushings with silicone every once in awhile. If you can loosen the bushing retainer and then slide the rubber bushing to one side, you can clean the area where the bushing resides and then lube with a silicone grease and slide the bushing back and tighten things down

Problem could be ball joints or upper control arm problem. There are lots of places for front end to sqeak from.

If you have a buddy available, have him push down on each fender while you try to localize problem by listening to front end
