Deep Impact (Comet)

anybody going to watch it?, i am, they are broadcasting it, just go to NASA's website :lol2:

im talking about the comet in space that nasa is going to shoot a rock through it and blow it to pieces (i think) but it all goes down at 10:52 pm Pacific Time, for me 12:52!

is it like a live webcast? if it is, I cant find it....

yeah it was a live webcast, but it kinda sucked....just mainly showed the mission control room and the images were blurry, but it already hit, so just go to the news websites or watch tv tomorrow and we might get better pics

I saw it, the build up was a bit slow, lots of excitement in Mission control, then lots of nothing with the odd interesting interview.

Then when it came to the actual impact things started happening VERY quickly!
They were broadcasting pictures of the impact and the comet as they came in.
