rubbing sound at start

Hello all,
I traded in my '93 prelude for a '00 a couple weeks ago, with manual tranny - not an SH. Love the car but....
I've noticed that after starting my car, what sounds like to me to be a kind of rubbing noise as I pull away from the parking spot, and can feel a bit of a drag on the car until the sound goes away in a couple seconds. I don't encounter it on any subsequent accelerations from a complete stop for the remainder of the trip, and I can "park" it and pull away again without the sound. However, if I shut the engine off, restart it, and then begin driving off there it is again. It happens whether I pull out of the parking spot backwards or forwards, and whether or not I mess with the brakes any. Could it be the clutch adjusting itself? It's Honda certified for a year, so I want to take care of any problems as soon as possible. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

it is the ABS system checking itself everytime the car starts up from being off and passes like 4 or 5 mph, that is why it happens forward or backward, and everytime you start up the car. all late model preludes do it, i have a 2001 SH myself. so... nothing at all is wrong, infact, if it didnt do it, something would be wrong.

Great, that's what I like to hear! Thanks for the info, I'll sleep better now.
