removing starter motor

how the HELL do u take the starter motor off a 99 taurus? i see one bolt, but in the other hole theres no bolt almost like one has been broken off? but in the Haynes manual in the picture its the same way.. is there a special tool needed to take this off? i used a mirror to look down in the whole n it doesnt look like the end of a bolt? i dont understand

I figured it out, the other bolt was covered it oil buildup and dirt, what i saw was a lil stud that lined the motor up, my mistake... sure im not the only one thats done that =D
