my headlights flew off!

ok not really. but here's the story:

i saw a pic of a civic with a feels kit and eyebrow covers over the headlights and i liked it alot, so i bought some APC eyebrows last week. i painted them and put them on my car. but all they used was double sided tape to stick to the headlights. i had planned to use silicon but i forgot to and i went on the highway this weekend... this probably happened when i was going 105mph like an idiot... but when i got home i only had one eyebrow ;x

mine are stuck with double sided tape and i've had them for about 10 months now

And to the dude w/ the eyebrows :confused: How the hell do they fly off? It comes with 3M adhesive shit. I've had mine on a while also and they've been fine....

I actually had the same thing happen to me before I have the eyebrows I have now. I had just gotten em from the ups guy and I was eager to try them and I said F it and I put em on unpainted, the only thing that was holding em down was the hood :hehe: then I was driving around and when I realize it, one was gone too. Thats just cause I was stupid though :rolleyes: LOL I was on the highway looking for them like a dick! And yea some 'earth day' clean up people probably found em. But isnt everyday earth day?! :bandit: :finger:

i really didnt want APC ones anyways. im gonna look for some better quality ones and replace them with a better adhesive. alot of people around here said they were ricey but i luv the look. thanx for the tips..:bandit:

I have APC(yea I know i hate apc) ones, whats so bad about the quality?! They just cover the headlights? :rolleyes:
