Hey guys

okay here's what's going on...and i'm not whining...i'm just venting... :iceslolan

um...okay so about two weeks ago my girlfriend and I, of a year, broke up...ya'll may think "it's only a year", but it wasn't because we we had relationship problems. It was because she didn't have a car and i did, so i would always drive to her house (60 miles away) and it was all cool. We were in "Love". But then my car went to hell (blown head gasket) and i didn't have the money to fix it and we weren't able to see each other for a month while i came up with the money. During that month since we're so far away from each other we drifted farther and farther apart...and eventually broke up...so anyways fast forward to now...now my car is totally shot (bad tranny, don't have 2000 bucks to fix it right now) and since i live in rural minnesota, i need a car to go anywhere with my friends and since my car is disfunctional, i'm kind of being left out of the parties and different fun things and drifting farther and farther away from my friends....and i kind of feel like i'm slowly being forgotten...it's kind of depressing (that's why i'm on here so much...lol :cwm27:)....now basically all i do now is go to work and hope for a phone call to do something fun...i feel kind of lost and where i live is so insanely boring, there's not ever crime her for crying out loud :eek7: )....anyways...that's my story and i'm sticking to it...thanks for reading...i appreciate it :biggrin:

Sounds kinda like she was with you only for your car, and why cant your freaking 'friends' come pick you up from your house to goto a party? If you ask me you need new friends who arent your friends only through the fact that you got transportation.

Sounds like you have long distance friendships as well.

minnesota..eh? i live in minnesota too, about an 30 min north of you in the souther suburbs (go figure). I was reading your profile and saw that you had an eclipse. There is a guy up here selling a first gen eclipse for $1800. It is a five speed with i dont know how many miles. But the car itself is cheaper then the tranny you need, and I'm sure you could bargin him down to like $1300 or $1400. Just thought i would let you know about. If you want his phone number e-mail me.
