Yea, um last night me and a bottle of Jack posted that. Now that Ol' Jack has left the building, that sounds pretty stupid. Oh well. :flipa:

I watched a vid of a A-Trim Stang jumpping all over a TT Supra. Till it hit about 80. The Stang jumpped first, got about 2 car lengths, then the Supra wasted his ass. With in 10 seconds the Stang could hardly be seen.

Watched another Stang get smoked by a Viper, from start to finsh. The Stang owners brought a Knife to a Gun fight, if you know what I mean.:p

Get a stang, lots of mods available always turns heads. Even if they hate you.

The fact that you posted that it was wrong for him to post a knock on the mustang because it was a girls car, based on the fact that he drives a Civic, is a bash in and of itself. You don't realize that there is no pride in racing a V6 Mustang or Camaro against most imports. Depending on modifications, it's almost even no matter what. V6 Mustangs have nothing in styling over his Si, I can vouche for that. The reason you're a newb, is the fact that you have not established a mode of respect on this board, and frankly, this topic won't help you. I drive a black 93 5.0, which is anything but a girls car. It might be stock, but I just got it. And man, you think I'm tryin' to get respect? .I got no beef with you either. We all come from different camps, and have to agree to disagree sometimes. Your stang is on the tail end of when Mustangs ruled the pony wars. No problems with that. Once the LT1/LS1 Camaros and Firebirds came out in the 4th gen, that's when we tipped the scales in our favor. Now that the F-bodies aren't being produced, it'll be in your favor. Let's just hope Ford makes them a little more appealing than the current body styles :rolleyes:

This I understand completely. Anything that can beat me deserves my respect and I shall give it. I will just have to take that hit to my ego and deal. Good racers/car enthusiasts are hard to come by.

The mach 1 will have the shaker hood, cobra engine, and a solid rear axle. But also heard just a shaker hood on a GT. Not sure keep hearing different stories.

I do not post kills, because its better to take it to the track. Anything else is illegal. With that being said, if your 1/4 is faster than mine, you beat me. Good for you, but I will be in the 10's by next month. Then I will sell the Stang and get my Skyline. I can't wait.

I love cars, not fond of that #8 spark plug on the LS1's.

That number 8 spark plug is a bish, good for scraped up knuckles and busted fingers. As for inferior products, don't even go there. We could bring up plenty of dirt on either side, that argument never works out anything either.

Really I was just kidding. Yes you are right, I could bring up the many broken cams, and spun bearing in Chevys as I can Fords. They are mechanical devices and are inherant to break down, no matter who builds them. I just happen to know more about Fords than Chevy. That why I run a Stang.

Which brings up a good point, why are you getting rid of a 10 second stang for a skyline? Granted there's the inherant value of having a very rare car here in the US, and it's future capabilities, but still. Why not have both? Regardless, it'll be cool. You gonna post pics?

I really do not like the way the Fox body looks. Yes, you can mod them and go fast, but they still lack in styling.

As for the Skyline, I can get it into the 10's and handle over a G on the skid pad for very little. I am in the military and well be stationed overseas next week, so a GTR will be less than half the pricew what you would have to pay for one here. The wife said only one toy, and the GTR is it. Only a handfull of Americans own one, the Stangs are a dime a dozen. I like to be different.

I also have a Boss 302, buts its not a Mustang. Its a Cougar Eliminator. That car I did a total restoration from the ground up. Took me 4 years, and I am still not done. You never are when your a damn perfectionist like me. When I was looking for a muscle car I want to be different so I went with either the Cougar or a Torino. I got a smoking deal on the Cougar so I went that way. Two Cougars, one a parts car, a Boss 302, a 302, a auto, 4 speed top loader, and a bunch of other cool parts for 2k. I only get to keep this car, because my wife wants to drive it. Whatever, women?

By the way Boss 302 suck for the street. Yeah, they can make 500hp, but the cam has to big as hell, and you have to turn that SOB to 9k. Where is the fun in that. How often are you going to be able to do that on the street. I am going to turn my Boss into a TT BOSS. I have big plans for that engine. I will be putting a 351W that I am building when I get to England for the Cougar. I should be done by mid summer, depending on how funds are. The Cougar is kind of heavy so it needs some toque.

As for the TT Boss, I will have that putting out 800hp for a kit car. That should be a blast.:)

Quite a few nice rides going through your hands. Hell, I'd love to see a GTR here in the states, much less own one. If I can ever graduate, get out of school and make a little money, maybe I'll have a nice garage of my own. I don't need a big house, just a multi-car garage. :D

My wife and I decided that once we get to Europe we are going to drive cars that you can't get here in the states, or at least very expensive.

I still have not seen a GTR in person. I have seen 100s of Stangs,Vetts, Civics, and Camaros.

As for the Mustang being a Girls car, I would like to see a girl drive my stang. My clutch is tight, very tight.

To the person asking what kinda cars I've LOST to:
I really haven't lost to much. I don't mean to sound like my shits the fastest around, because trust me, it's no where near that fast.
I just haven't had the chance to run a lot of the FAST cars, as most of them either stick to the track, or prefer to run for ca$h.
I'll run for ca$h sometimes, but the kills I listed were just from playin around town.

BTW. Just the other day, I got cut off by a Mercedes SL500. I got next to him and he took off. I gave it just enough gas to stay alongside at first, and then layed into it to pull away. He got mad at me for some reason and flicked me off.

SkylineUSA: I understand your reasons for gettin the Skyline. Heck, if I could afford one, I might think about getting one, but I'd never get rid of my WS6 to tell ya the truth. I love it too much.

I am trying to buy a 95 GTR, right now with a fresh rebuild. Get this for $18,500. I'll send pics, when I get it. I will be changing the color, to a green. They do not make green GTRs, so mine will be very unique.

before my friend totalled his 1999 cobra in a police chase, he had something like 25 thousand miles on it and it was already having major problems
