diff between 2/4dr front ends?

I have an 89 hatch and it was missing the front bumper, So I picked one up from a junk yard off of a 4dr (88-89) and now I relize that I need that spacer between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the lights. Is there a diff in bumpers for 2dr/4drs? Will that spacer bolt to my frame or do I heed the correct bumper? I'm just frustrated 'cause I need so many parts for my 4G, it seems endless.

I bet I need more parts then you. ;)
The spacer should be the same. But I would try and get a hatch just to be safe. Because there are minor differences in te two.

thanks, well the car used to be owned by a speed shop in Wisconsin and it ran 11s w/LSVTEC, they kept the engine but it's a nice tid-bit of info:) . It now has 204K miles and the moldings were shaved but the job wasn't finished, it was done the right way, I just need to finish sanding. Otherwise heres what I need to replace/fix that I know of so far;
windshield
struts
brakes/lines
fix rust
repaint car original color
needs rear bumper
side turn signals
missing all interior behind front seats
rear windshield wiper
hatch lock (prolly fill hole)
has no batery tray- locate to hatch instead
has no batery
missing tons of screws/bolts misc. parts
replace all bushings w/polyurethane ones
no engine/tranny/shift linkage
sometimes it seems like a lot and sometimes it doesn't, now that it's getting warmer out the parts are staring to trickle in:cool:

I am about 85% finished.
The junkyard I go to has a lot of those parts you need. If you want me to check on anything, let me know.

I haven't been to serious about getting parts because the snow finally melted and now I have to get it out of the drive way to make room for a dumpset 'cause my parents are remodeling. But theres plenty of import junk yards in good 'ol Minnesota, so once time frees up I'll be set.
Your car looks real clean, I'm jealous! I'm gonna be sporting the car craft look for a while (all primer) untill mid summer hopefuly

I would NEVER dare take my car there again...i know its under a new name but they fucked my friend over real bad. My friend kept on contacting them and they never answered the phone! My friend have them do an LS v-tec swap and it ran shitty as hell. That Parnell guy told him not to let the v-tec hit until he drives a 1000 miles so he had break it in. Well the 1000 miles came up and my friend gun it and the v-tec did not work at all. Grey smoke coming out of the exhaust and it wasn't a good thing. SO like 5 months later the v-tec still hasnt work. We finally went to this shop and got a new v-tec solenoid and put in a fields v-tec controller. Well the v-tec finally worked and that shit pulled hard!! Too bad it only lasted 2 days cause his engine blew into pieces:mad: Well 3 g's down the drain and i feel so bad for my friend:( Well now he got a b16 and he is happy with it. Just thought i'd share it with u ppl.

You know the shop!? (located in Milwakee)I didn't buy it from them, I bought it off a purehonda menber that bought it off 'em and then sold it because he wanted a CRX (lighter). If you know any of the cars history post it, I was just told that it was in the 11s, kinda hard to believe they'd put that much work into a car and overlook the crapy brakes, cracked windshield, and flat grease fittings. By the way the cars original color is silver and someone painted it championship white.

I thought there "11" second car was red? Well either way i don't trust that shop anymore. I think its called speed shop and yes it is in Milwaukee. Its been changed under a new name now i'm not sure what though.

Sweet deal another Honda owner from MN. I live in Mora, about 60 miles north of the cities via 65.
Does anyone know of a good '89 CRX si for sale around here? I want to sell my 3gee and buy a CRX.
