heater core hoses

i have coolant gushing out a small rubber elbow with no hose on it on the passenger side firewall of my 91 cavalier rs 4door what does that mean

Your heater core is leaking. The elbow you see is the drain for the AC. Probably the plastic tubes that go to the core. Good Luck.

im doing a heater core job on my 1983 cougar... it sucks ass
