Ok I have a 97 with 120,000, About 500 miles ago I replaced the solonid (sp?) it worked fine for about 300-400 miles. One day driving down the highway I had to slow down for construction and it did it, dropped into creeper mode. I pulled over turned it off and restartedit, it worked fine after that. It seems like driving around town no porblems, once I get on the highway and run for awhile then have to slow down, thats when it strikes? The check engine is not on.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

The first thing I do when they start acting weird is, change the fluid and filter. I've saved many a trans. that way. Make sure you, (or whoever) uses the ATF +3 Chrysler fluid.

Possible, the spped sensor should turn on the "check engine" light if it was bad. You should take it to Autozone, or Advanced Auto and see if they can check for fault codes. You may have error codes with out the light.
