Completed AMT ERTL F&F Supra

yay! first completed model of the year/summer. whooo! this was the first time i painted the body. it turned out ok. some small bubbles and whatnot. and my window rubbers are like :wtf: . haha. i tried to use a permanent maker but that sucked and then i just start painting without really caring anymore. oh well. it's still ok... anyways... here are some pics:

looks clean you know i had to be the first to say something its a Supra. looks * itchin in that color.

i'm sure my camera focuses, i just don't know how. i have a nice camera but i don't know how to use it.

nice build, that color looks great. whats the real name of the color?

as far as the camera, i'm assuming its digital... when learning your camera, make sure its in the "auto" mode it if has one. a lot of cameras will focus if you press the button to take the picture halfway and hold it there for a few seconds. then just press the button all the way and it'll take the picture. some cameras have a box so u should point that at what you are trying to focus on. if you have a view screen, you'll see the subject come into focus. hopefully that'll help a little.

AHA! thanks so much. i was taking pics by pressing the button halfway, hoping it would focus, but i noticed no change. BUT i did notice the box that pops up and i was like "wtf is that for?". the color is Plastikote Silver(yea i know... a real plain name...)

nice! now i kinda wish i had painted my supra silver, looks good. as far as taking pictures goes, see if your camera has a "macro" mode, which is usually a button/setting with the flower on it. this will allow u to take pics of objects up close(less than 3 ft away), otherwise the camera will focus on the background.

Nice Supra, You are just too close to the car for your camera's Macro is seems to me. If you have a button with a Tulip on it, press it!

thanks. i suck with the camera. dunno why.i think my hand it too unsteady... yet i still brushpaint...
