Fuse Blowing

Hey y'all,,,got a big prob here and I am hoping for a little advice. Got a 94 Gt 'vert, and I had the Multi Lever Positioning Switch(Neutral Safety Switch) replaced a little while back. Although that fixed the problem I was having at the moment, I now have a new one I am not to sure of. Here it is, every time I put the car in reverse, be it from park or coming from drive; it blows the fuse to the turn signals, the air bag light,the vert top and the overdrive kill switch. I have checked the wireing to the rear lights and all, cant find anything wrong. I was wondering if the MLPS wasnt installed correctly could cause this. It is supposed to be adjusted and all after installation. There is a tool from Ford for this, that is why I didnt put it in myself. If anyone has had a similar prob,and solved it, please let me know. It is very aggravating and has the potential for a fire I feel.
