Help Me Plz!!!!!

I would like to fix up my car but ive been reading through sum of the forums and realize that i am not that well informed when it comes to fixing up cars. i want to increase hp and do all kinds of stuff, but have limited funds. mostly all i realy know is the stuff on NFSU2.lol. plz any positive advice is welcomed

NFSU is like the bible for tuners its how I got started and most other of the OGs here the 2nd is just a step up.
