What order do you go in?

I am just starting to upgrade my 92 RS for performance, and was wondering what order you guys do things in, i can only go as far as the paycheck permits each week, so things need to be done in shifts, was wondering what you guys usualy get first, to last.. i was thinking about the hedders first, but im not even sure if they are necessary or going to increase what they say they do.. want to get my moneys worth for the first few things..
How do you guys do things..

ditto
headers DO make a difference.
You're dealing with design that is starved for incoming air and resitrciting exhaust.
Next up would be to cool that puppy down, GM set em to run hot. So a lower/adjustable fan switch and 180 stat (depending on where you live) will get you there. And also depending on where you live you can bypass the the throttle body cooling lines to keep incoming air cooler as well. This stops power from falling aff a bit when things get warmer from running.
Then up with shift kit and larger rear end gear and you'll be happy without spending a fortune and each step can be done each weekend for you to enjoy til the next check:)

So buy a chip that works with a stat first,(Hypertech) Plus I thought exhaust was headers?

drivetrain first, having done a buch of my mods thus far i would suggest doing the transmission first, suspension second, and power last.

hehehehe this is funny. Hey... do everything! (jkg)
Seriously.. I'd go with Korndaog and Wright on this one if your looking to keep it reasonably price. Drivetrain upgrades aren't cheap, unless you can do them yourself.

No, Scranton's about 2 hours north of here. If you look at the map of PA, I'm in the lower right corner of the bubble, near oxford. You should know that the bubble was caused by earl's ass though. (HAH! I'll have to tell my wife that one.) Anyhoo, from Richmond I'm about 3 hours, straight up 95, get off as soon as you hit the toll in DE, I'm about 15 minutes NW from there.
YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF FROMUNDA CHEESE???? HAHAHAHAHAHA! You might like it, it has many varieties... the cheese fromunda m'balls, m'ass, m'toes, etc you get the point.
What are you hunting??? Got some of the best right here Whitetail hunting right here in Chester County. All shotgun though. Wait a minute... Hunting in the SUMMER??? FOR WHAT???

and dude, youre probly only like an hour and a half away from me. i live just south of D.C. my grandma lives in richmond, and shes an hour and a half south.
as far as the hunting, my friend hunts pretty much whatever and whenever he wants. so it will pretty much be whatever we see while were out there. again, that networking thing ;)

haha, dont give me too much credit, i dont know second gens nearly as well as i know first gens. my brothers bronco is my first experience dealing with carburated engines for crying out loud. But if i get a car that drives well enough to trust, and ive got the time and money to come shoot the shit, well talk about it.
as far as the hunting, my buddy is actually a very responsable hunter, never shoots more than they take home to eat, never kills for sport, they just kinda sorta dont have to follow the laws regarding when the goverment says your allowed to go hunting. they live in PA and are itallian, you do the math :) but no, they dont go out and shoot just because they can, and dont kill things that are illegal to shoot, they just hunt deer and stuff like that when its out of season. no biggie really.

Ummm.... Iroc, Hunting (and killing) game out if season IS poaching. (Wish I had a fancy link) And in PA is an offense that ou can be fined and arrested for. (You gotta be weeellly quiet so the game warden doesn't catch you, only shoot one shot so they can't locate the source of the shot, and pick up your shell casing dammit... I've done this before). Seriously, be careful, the game wardens take that shit VERY serious up here.
And I KNEW I liked this guy, an Italian poacher... That's the best kind.

we could get arrested for this............ meh, thats what we have guns for :)
lol, naw just kidding, but really im pretty sure that even if we did bump into the game warden (rather unlikely unless they patrol private land) we could shake his hand, throw out a few names, and walk away with deer in hand. its one of those kinda deals. again, networking is great.

hey i saw that someone said they thought exhaust was headers...if u do a full upgrade u can say that, but most people think of the exhaust pipes all the way back to where they hook up to the headers...common mistake when people talk about upgrading it.
