Trunk reflector

This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to paint the reflector on the trunk so that it matches the car? Or any other ways to take care of that? I know that you can buy a trunk bezel at RK, but I'd rather customize my tail lights in a different way.. Thanx

i would just remove that whole peice and fill the bolt holes and repaint the trunk,,then it will look like the 2000-2002 cavs
