Grill Insert?

I have an 03 coupe, and I'm looking to make a few minor changes. I like the look of custom grill inserts, but I don't know how hard it would be to fit one (or cut one) into my car. I know that I can get an insert for below the bumper, but what do you guys think about above the bumper? I just wanna get an idea... Thanx
