Ive got an 84 Z28 and the botton hinge pins are pretty much done for and i dont want to break anything so any help in removal of the old and installation of the new pins would be much appreciated, thanks!

Open the door and support it with either a jack and 2X4 or an engine hoist and strap (the better way). Remove the side kick panel on the driver side. With a long punch and hammer drive the old pin up and out (it has a spring clip retainer you must brake to get it out). Remove the pin. Now remove the bolts holding the bottom hinge to the body, one from outside and 2 from the kick panel area. Remove the body side of the hinge. Replace the bushings (one on body side and one on door side). Reinstall the body side of the hinge and install new pin (make sure to get it seated all the way). Take the support off the door and slowly close it. If it doesn't align quite right, open it back up and put the support back on the door and loosen up the body side hinge bolts, raise/lower the door and retighten the bolts. Check it again.

are you saying you have to reinstall the body side hinge before you install the pin?

Yes. Because the pin has the spring retainer clip on it and a knurled area around the head that must be hammered down into the hinge.
