Where can you get an Alps printer from? I can't seem to find one anywhere. Thanks.

eBay.
Unless you live (or have someone else pick up) in Japan you can't get a new one any more.
The factory refurbished MD5000 and 5500 are ideal for custom decal making, because they can print white, silver and gold (don't remember 1000 and 1300 off hand).
Keep in mind, that if you just need another set of kit decal, it's cheaper to buy it from the manufacturer (or through Hobby Link Japan).
Alternatively, you can use a color copier and a blank sheet of decal. Have a large color image ready, and reduce the size, so that you can minimize flaws, and can get a sharper image.

I would imagine that a color laser copier would work better than a regular inkjet? Just wondering.
