Oil burning smell

Hi everybody and hope you all are having a good night.

I just got home from work and driving my car. When I was in stop and go traffic I started to smell what I think is burning oil. However the car runs fine and no warning lights came on. I did just have my oil changed a few days ago and this is the first major driving around in traffic that I've done since I had it changed. I also thought I might have seen one of the techs spill some oil on the engine, do you think its just the oil burning off that i'm smelling?

It's just oil that was accidentally spilled on the motor somewhere. Maybe when taking off the filter or putting it back on.

most likely the burning of fuel that leaked during the removal/install of the fuel filter. If it doesn't stop... check your injectors and plugs... also your valve/pan gaskets.

Nah, I'm not a mod on this forum. I came over here with the rest of the group from the big PureHonda.com crash. Check registration dates, there was an assload of registrations in Dec 2001. There would only be about 10-15 members in this forum if I was a mod. The ban button would get worn out.
