HELP! My Tahoe LT is dead... (electrical)

I have a 92 auto 4WD S-10 Blazer (VIN W) with a dead electrical system. It went on and off about 3 times coming up the hill to my house, then went completely. No start, no dash lights, no dome light, no key buzzer, no radio, no nada! My heavy duty battery is less than a year old, and is putting out at least enough current to turn on the dome light. I cleaned all of the corrosion from the positive terminal (there is none on the negative side) including down in the wires, and still nothing. I tried jumping it with no joy... There are numerous smaller wires coming from the battery cable so my thought is that at least something electrical should work, but nothing does. Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated, and wiring diagrams for the durned old thing would be fantastic. (I have a #@&^%*&$! wiring problem with the digital dash.) Thnx!

Even though there is no visible corrosion on the negative, you should still clean it and make sure it is tight. You need to check the other end of the cables too.

I'm assuming that you have checked the battery for voltage?

Yup, I checked all of the connections, and the battery voltage is just fine. I can measure the voltage from the chassis to the positive terminal just fine... By the way, the terminals are of the side post type that screw in, so my meter probe is not on the terminal itself but on the screw going into the terminal.

Nope... :smokin: It's something I can repair with the proper wiring diagram.
