Ferrari 512TR interior colour

Hi all

I'm doing a 1/24 Ferrari 512TR from Rosso and i want to make the interior in a yellow/black layout. I try to reproduce the yellow using the same colour from the Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena, but it does not seem the same colour. :banghead:

Does anyone can give a tip about what colour could i use? My references show a great variation of tone. :shakehead

the best thing you can do is experiment, try desert Yellow and mix it with white until you get the need hue. Its all up to you, as long as you think the color is a good match.

I'm preety agree with Fieldmarshal, the desert yellow with white it's the mix to do. I only will ad a couple of drops of Flesh color to give this light tan color you will get, the light red-brown it needs. After all, leather it's kind of the flesh of the animals!!! :screwy:

I love 512 TRs....

Just go to your local paint shop for real cars and order the Fly yellow reference, it is the original Ferrari color...
